Specific Needs and Project Results
In June 2012, Rminds’ new owners were in need of a quickly refreshed company brand, logo, website, and supporting collateral, to give their existing base of associates fast evidence of a new proactive approach guiding the company.
After purchasing the business, the new owners found a fragile employee culture, hurt by slow administrative support and poor communication from previous management. In order to instill confidence in the new management, Rminds needed a new image, to be signaled with new branding and messaging, along with a fresh website. With company morale nearing a crisis, speed was crucial.
Within 30 days, Grasshopper developed Rminds’ new messaging and a new corporate look and feel, then designed and implemented a new website, a new logo and a complete set of corporate identity materials. The results received positive reactions from a significant majority of the employee base.
Since then, we’ve been working with Rminds to develop its social media presence and to find and market to targeted groups and organizations that fit well with Rminds industry. We’re also developing an employee referral program, one that will spread effectively through targeted social media sites and internet advertising.
Why this Case Study Matters
Without an internal marketing department, Rminds was in need of marketing help that was both fast and effective. A big agency wasn’t a good option for Rminds, because they have trouble moving quickly and efficiently. Since Grasshopper Marketing is based on a nimble production model, without permanent employees and other fixed costs, we’re able to scale to client needs quickly while maintaining relatively low costs. So Rminds was able to get what it needed and meet its time demands.
Our branding, website and marketing strategy all needed improvement. Grasshopper developed our great new logo and tagline, then designed and implemented a website that speaks clearly and effectively. They did all this quickly, and without budget overages. Now they’re getting our overall marketing strategies in order, so we can reach much more of our target audience. The thing I really love about them is they don’t do the whole ‘the customer’s always right’ thing. They constantly steer our first instincts in better directions. And they are continually flexible and responsive to our time frames.
