Challenge
LearningRx Atlanta came to Grasshopper Marketing because they initially needed a few extra hands to write press releases and manage public relations. They needed help getting the word about their services to the local area.
The Atlanta franchise also needed help closing leads. The pricing sheet they used in the sales process was hard to read and understand, causing many good prospective customers to turn down the service or choose the wrong program.
LearningRx Atlanta needed a marketing partner to offer strategic ideas to grow awareness, customers and revenue. They needed a company who could handle the marketing, while the owners ran the rest of the business.
Solution
In June 2011, LearningRx Atlanta contracted with Grasshopper on a retainer basis. Grasshopper met with the client every month to determine the highest priority projects, and then got to work.
Grasshopper provided the following services to LearningRx Atlanta:
- Public relations - article pitching, press release writing and media monitoring for coverage opportunities
- Social media training and consulting
- Local lead generation campaigns – strategic consulting, training and execution
- Collateral design and content development – price sheets and partner sales sheets
Results
LearningRx Atlanta closed more business and had their biggest revenue months in their franchise 5-year history during October and November 2011. With Grasshopper’s help, they also appeared in local print and television media outlets. We’ve created several lead generation campaigns and the collateral pieces required for execution.
In 2012, we helped them reach out to local schools with partnership and training opportunities. With these initiatives in operation, LearningRx Atlanta broke its previous revenue levels and opened an additional office in Alpharetta in 2013.
